Sheet L-04Last updated 13 September 2026

This site moves a lot. Here is what we did so it still works if movement is a problem for you, and where we know it falls short.

01What we have done

We aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA. Specifically:

  • Every animation switches off if your system asks for reduced motion. The site becomes a static, fully built page.
  • Everything is reachable by keyboard, and focus is always visible.
  • Decorative parts, including the hero lens, the blueprint drawings and the custom cursor, are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text meets contrast requirements against every background we use.
  • The site works without a mouse, and it works on a phone.

02Where it falls short

We would rather tell you than let you find out.

  • The hero relies on scrolling or holding to reveal its built state. The same information appears as text elsewhere, but the effect itself cannot be experienced without motion.
  • Some drawings carry labels that are decorative rather than described in full.
  • We have tested with keyboard navigation and automated checks, but not yet with a full manual screen reader audit.

03Tell us

If something here does not work for you, email hello@unbuilt.studio and describe what happened and what you were using. We will reply within five working days and fix what we can. Last updated 13 September 2026.

Tell us what you want to exist. We'll reply with how we'd build it, roughly how long it takes and what it costs.
